The corn prices have been strong since February when Thailand started importing corn from Myanmar, according to market sources. Despite being coincided with the coup on February 1, the corn market was not affected thanks to Thailand’s strong demands causing the corn price strong.
Rainy season-grown corn and winter-grown corn are now out of stock and summer-grown corn will be yield in October while winter-grown corn in December and January.
Myanmar has planned to export 2.1 million tons of corn mainly to Thailand and China.

၂၀၂၀-၂၁ ဘဏ္ဍာနှစ်ထွက် မိုးပြောင်းနှင့် ဆောင်းပြောင်းက လက် ကျန်မရှိ တော့ကြောင်း၊လာမည့် အောက်တိုဘာလတွင် နွေပြောင်း ထွက်ရှိခြင်းနှင့် ဒီဇင်ဘာနှင့်ဇန်နဝါရီ လကုန်တွင် ဆောင်းပြောင်းထွက်ရှိလာမည် ဖြစ်ကြောင်း သိရသည်။
